Here is the June page from my 2018 calendar exploring the British Isles. June is all about picnics and tennis and maybe some Pimms.

Hello I'm Ginette, I do graphic design, art, illustration and surface pattern design.
Here on my blog you can see the pictures i've been making, stuff I've been up to and the inspiration I found in fun places like Whistler, Canada and Oxfordshire, England.
You can also view my portfolio for more of my design work, find out about bespoke wedding stationary and take a look at the cards and prints for sale in my shop.

I designed the order of service, menu and signage for a beautiful wedding at Comrie Croft with the ceremony at Glen Artney Church, full of beautiful people. I illustrated the feathers, foliage and chanterelle mushrooms, and had a great time choosing beautiful fonts.
This is a recent flyer I designed for uWatch, a remote security system that can keep an eye on all sorts of things. Fitting a lot of text onto the flyer and making the information easy to read is always a satisfying challenge to complete.
Here is a little look at a big project I have been working on for Whistler Fitness Vacations. I created a new look and feel for the brand with beautiful and modern fonts and a lovely, inviting and functional colour palette, and also used some of my own photography of Whistler scenery. I worked on catalogues and a series of workbooks and the colours and design elements were also used across the new website and blog.
Here's a few illustrations I'm currently working on, in between doing some glorious spring skiing and sunny bikes rides.
This is the April illustration for my 2018 calendar. Swans on the river Thames and some llamas in the field beyond!
Bee.Watch is planning to make a difference to falling honeybee populations in the UK with a phone app and website which can help beekeepers find and collect swarms to replace dead hives, and help farmers and beekeepers communicate about pesticide spraying. I designed the logo, flyers and website to promote this super useful app. Plus these honeybee facts and figures.
It's a bit chilly for springtime just yet, but hopefully the daffodils will be out soon. Here is the March illustration for my calendar of the British Isles.
Here is Februarys illustration from my 2018 calendar of the British Isles. I took the train from Fort William to Mallaig once with my mum, we crossed over the Glenfinnan Viaduct and it was very dramatic. Also here is the blackhouse village at Gearrannan on the Isle of Lewis and Eilean Donan Castle on the way to Skye. Definitely some places to add to your bucket list.
Some paintings and digital illustrations of beautiful British Columbia just hanging around in my bedroom.
