Hello I'm Ginette, I do graphic design, art, illustration and surface pattern design.
Here on my blog you can see the pictures i've been making, stuff I've been up to and the inspiration I found in my current home Whistler, Canada.
You can also view my portfolio for more of my design work, find out about bespoke wedding stationary and take a look at the cards for sale in my shop.

My new calendar for 2018, featuring lovely views from around the British countryside. From Glastonbury Tor to Glenfinnan Viaduct via Portmeirion and Bamburgh Castle and my parents' garden! It is inspired by vintage travel posters and British Isle adventures and was lots of fun to draw.
The calendar is A3 size and for sale in my shop!

We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance. A wise Japanese proverb! This is my November calendar page which you can download for free on my homepage to stick up in your house to remind you to dance often like these two crazy cats! I don't often draw people so thought I would challenge myself with this one.

Here is the September page of my 2017 calendar, available for free download to print out on A4 on the homepage. A great quote about midnight mischief under the bright full moon.
“I swear, the reason for full moons is so the gods can more clearly see the mischief they create.”

Here is a pair of magpies from an illustration series I'm working on about good luck. I'm having a lot of fun researching superstitions and getting lucky! The rhyme about magpies goes "One for sorrow, Two for joy, Three for a girl, Four for a boy, Five for silver, Six for gold, Seven for a secret never to be told." Luckily you can avoid the sorrow of seeing a lone magpie by 'doffing your cap' and saying “Good morning Mr Magpie. How is your lady wife today?” I think I might start doffing my cap more often...
