I really enjoyed making last years calendar of lovely quotes, and sharing it on instagram all year, and seeing it in all of my friends' kitchens. This year seems to be moving faster than me so the calendar starts with February with a lovely quote about adventures from JRR Tolkien. You can download the page as an A4 pdf to print out and hang up in your kitchen too, find the download on the homepage.

I'm not sure how July disappeared so quickly but here is an exciting discovery from my 2016 calendar of quotes! One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries - A.A.Milne

This week I have 10% off prints and free shipping in my society6 shop, check it out!

A badge I've been working on inspired by the great outdoors. The background picture is from a sunny spring hike with some lovely people to a splendid waterfall near Whistler, Canada back in March.

I have made my own Christmas cards for a long while, and now I worry that my friends would be offended to receive anything else. So here are my Christmas cards for 2015! Each of the four designs is inspired by a wintery poem, which was a great opportunity to daydream about lovely snowy places, starry skys and frosty mornings. I also took inspiration from cosy patchwork quilts, knitted jumpers and woolly blankets. The cards are available in the shop with all proceeds going to charity.

Here's a little montage of some lunar eclipse photos I took the other week, with a bit of hand lettering and a nice quote. I got up at 3am to see it in England, but I loved the thought of people seeing the eclipse at different times of the night around the world (or not at all, sorry Australia) so this quote seemed appropriate.
