I went on a northern light hunting trip to Lillooet Lake, and I found the northern lights! Also the lake was beautiful, the minivan very comfortable for sleeping and I had some adventures in painting inspired by the lovely green lake and bleached driftwood at Strawberry Point, very successful trip.

I've been having some adventures in painting during my time in Canada, here are a few of the results, arranged with a trendy cactus. All done with acrylic paints, I only bought a few colours with me from home but luckily my new housemate revealed many boxes of art supplies she has stored in our basement so I can branch out with my colour palettes, hurruh! And maybe I'll get around to painting something more summery.

Here is a collection of recent snaps of 'people enjoying the scenery'. From Whistler mountains and lakes to Stanley Park, via Tofino and The Chief. Enjoying the scenery has been my main activity this summer, it's very enjoyable and surprisingly easy, anyone can give it a go!

The first full moon of the year was pretty in purple here in Whistler, it was also approx. minus a million degrees celsius, flippin' chilly!
